My kid sister's taste in music, and some food for thought.

1. My sister, Cameron (11 years old, yea, she's that old, I know), sent this video to me the other day. I think it's awesome.  I'd heard the song a couple of times on the radio and liked the sound of it.  Now I'm hooked.

2. Here are some words from John Eldredge.  They can be slightly depressing, but let them take you to the feet of Jesus.
It can't be done. No matter how hard we try, no matter how clever our plan, we cannot arrange for the life we desire. Set the book down for a moment and ask yourself this question: Will life ever be what I so deeply want it to be, in a way that cannot be lost? This is the second lesson we must learn, and in many ways the hardest to accept. We must have life; we cannot arrange for it.       (John Eldredge, Desire)
