Couldn't have said it better myself-
"Busyness is a modern status symbol, the currency of social capital. We lament this situation and yet still brag about it—even while it overwhelms us. We try to battle back, but the crush of information and activity is always a step ahead of us. We resolve to change and improve, keep our schedules clearer and our free time freer. But we lose again and again." -10 tips to curing busyness

ahhhh...rest
"Since He did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won't he also give us everything else?"-Romans 8:32
So the past 24 hours have been somewhat bittersweet. This morning I was supposed to be headed to Boston. This did not end up happening due to a flight mishap. I was disappointed and frustrated at first, but I soon got over it. I was able to take a glorious nap today and just have an overall rest/sabbath day. The Lord is indeed good.
What do you think of the idea of Sabbath? Is it still necessary? What are the practical aspects of it?
I have come to believe that it is indeed a gift from the Lord to be enjoyed.
3 other good things about today-
1. walking to the BP station for corndogs with Jess (love some corn dogs...and Jess)
2.community group - it's sweet- we were in John 16:5-15
3. GT beating the snot out of UGA in baseball (GT-25, UGA-6) love some GT baseball!!

I love spring in Atlanta. This is our backyard. Note that both our cars are parked underneath the carport. After living here for a year and a half, we just now figured out that we can both fit our cars underneath. ha.

no-space jam! alright!
by no-space jam, I mean there is no space in the next week! Next wednesday and thursday, I'll be heading to Boston for a church planting seminar through peoplegroups.info for UACP. I am very excited about this. (Went to a church planters' network meeting last night. So encouraging.)
I'm fighting for some rest time this weekend...but am finding this might be a hurdle to overcome. Seriously...when I sit down to do my monthly budget, there really needs to be some budgeted (pun intended) time for figuring out my priorities.
In two weeks from today, I will be in Oklahoma! I am so excited!
In other news, I want to find an old polaroid camera...or at least something similar. Anyone have any ideas on how I might do this?
Found this website...my creative juices are flowing. :-)
Taking it day by day. His mercies are new each morning (Lam 3:22-26).
